Meet the SNT Dietitians Leslie, Brigid &
Heather
Schilling Nutrition
Therapy, LLC (or SNT) is owned by Leslie P. Schilling, MA, RD, CSSD, LDN. Leslie is a master’s level, registered/licensed
dietitian who specializes in disordered eating, sports nutrition, and weight management through the prevention of weight/diet
cycling. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees both from Appalachian State University in Boone,
NC.
Leslie has worked with recreational,
high school, collegiate, and professional athletes and has worked in many practice settings including research, acute
care and outpatient pediatrics, adult and pediatric nutrition strategies, as well as athletic training facilities. She has also
served as an adjunct instructor in the Graduate Nutrition Program at the University of Memphis. Leslie
has been invited to provide nutrition programs and presentations to teams and professionals across the nation. She
also reviews and writes for local media, professional and consumer publications. Leslie is a member of Sport, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition (SCAN), Behavioral Health Nutrition (BHN), and Nutrition Entrepreneurs (NE) Practice Groups of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, Sport Dietetics-USA, the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee (EDCT), The Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Assocation (CPSDA), the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH), the Health at Every Size Community and, in 2011 was accepted into The National Speaker's Association.
She is currently the ONLY Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) in Memphis. A CSSD "is a registered dietitian who has earned the premier professional sports nutrition credential
in the U.S. CSSDs provide safe, effective, evidence-based nutrition services for health, fitness, and athletic performance."
Leslie also holds a Certificate of Training in Childhood
and Adolescent Weight Management and is a Certified
Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She was the 2006-2007 President of the Memphis District Dietetic Association
and was named the 2006 Memphis and Tennessee Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year. In
March of 2009, she was elected to serve on the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetic's House of Delegates as a Professional
Issues Delegate for dietitians working in the field of Behavioral Health Nutrition.

Meet Brigid Kay, RD, LDN Brigid is a registered/licensed dietitian who specializes
in nutrition for the entire family. Her interests include family nutrition strategies, disordered eating, and the prevention
of weight/diet cycling. Brigid received her Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from the University of Mississippi
in Oxford, Mississippi and completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little
Rock, Arkansas. While working at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center, she provided nutrition education, assessment and consultation
for pediatric patients undergoing treatment at various levels of care including burn patients, surgery patients and tube feeding
patients. Her time at LeBonheur also allowed her to worked closely with the adolescent eating
disorder treatment team. Brigid has a love for fitness and has been a fitness instructor at a local YMCA for over eight years.
She is a certified group fitness instructor/ personal trainer through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America

Meet Heather Johnson, MS, RD, LDN Heather
is a master's level, registered dietitian who specializes in the prevention of weight/diet cycling, diabetes, and sports nutrition.
She received her Bachelor of Science in dietetics from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi and completed
her Dietetic Internship at the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee where she also received her master's degree in
dietetics. Heather is a member of Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition (SCAN) and Diabetes Care Education (DCE) Practice
Groups of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also a certified group fitness instructor through the Aerobics and
Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and is a certified Zumba instructor. Heather has a passion for fitness and wellness
and strives to teach people of all ages that health management doesn't include being on a diet. Health is a
